Opulent, oily, exotic.
Road 13 is leading the BC pack paying homage to the wines of the Rhone. They aren't the only ones doing so, but they are doing it with great enthusiasm.
The VRM is an acronym for Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and the grapes are harvested from the Blind Creek Vineyard in the southerly Similkameen Valley.
There were 153 cases of this opulent white, which offers aromas of ginger biscuits, exotic spices, lime, pine resin, tropical flowers, candle wax and a core of rich honey. The palate is oily and weighty with wonderful concentration balanced with mouthwatering acidity. Incredible length trailing stone fruit, honey and lime flavours.
